iLECSYS Rail supply, stock and manufacture GFRP handrail assemblies and components. Available as standard in yellow or grey, handrail assemblies can be customised to suit. These can be pre-assembled or supplied as component form, complete with fixing kits. Our GFRP handrail system offers a cost effective and lasting alternative to conventional metallic materials. With low installation and maintenance costs, outstanding corrosion and impact resistance and high strength-to-weight ratios, GFRP modular handrails significantly outperform steel, aluminium and timber equivalents.
The standard 50 x 40mm pultruded tube can be supplied cut to length or our in-house design department can offer support, with designs or general arrangement drawings. The pultruded tube and toe plate are manufactured from high grade isophthalic polyester resin, with E glass fibre roving, a continuous filament mat and a surface veil. The moulded fittings are made from a proprietary sheet moulding compound, which includes chopped E glass fibre, isophthalic polyester resin and mineral filler.
